Monkton Wyld Court
Monkton Wyld Court is an intentional community run centre for sustainable living in beautiful southwest Dorset. We run a variety of residential and day courses throughout the year, many of which promote smallholding skills. Since 2010, we are also proud home to The Land magazine, Chapter 7 and Simon Fairlie’s Scythe Shop, providing the potential for one-stop shopping for smallholders just starting off.
Our Smallholding Survey course with Simon, Jyoti Fernandes and Rebecca Laughton offers a rare opportunity to visit various area smallholdings, all very different and all thriving on the land. We also offer limited short-term volunteer and WWOOFing places and are occasionally looking for new members. At Monkton, we believe strongly that the learning process never ends and that we all have valuable lessons to teach each other. We look forward to meeting you soon.
